The “Nook” – Pond Side Cottage in Bar HarborThe Nook was converted in the 80s partially using a shed first built on the property in the 1920s. While inside the unit you can see the roof of the original Nook where the bedroom now resides. Our Pet fee is $80-Sun Loungers-The lawn space is shared with the unit on property-Fire Pit is available that is shared with the other unit on the property-Firewood is not provided but as you drive around you will see many of our neighbors selling bundles for $4-$8 at the end of their driveways-Parking is FREE at the property~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Laundry Room:-Laundry is FREE and is located in the garage, this space is available for the other unit on the property to use as well-Laundry Detergent Provided-Dryer Sheets Provided~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Television:-The TV is a SMART TV that you are able to log into your own apps to view programming-The TV does NOT have Cable~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Workspace:-The unit has a dedicated workspace in the Kitchen/Living Room Area-There is a Desk, Chair, and Lamp-This unit has a FAST Internet Connection and DOES NOT share the Wi-Fi with any other unit on the property. The router is located in the unit if guests would like to have an Ethernet Connection instead of Wi-Fi~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A/C Units/Fans:-There is a Mini-Split A/C Unit in the bedroom as well as the living room-There is a Standing Fan available as well~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~-Outdoor Furniture is put out in Late May until the End of OctoberGuest accessThe entire unit is available for access by this unit ONLY.The Laundry Room in the garage is shared with the unit next door, as is the backyard and fire pit space.Other things to note-Being near a Pond there are may bugs and moths especially at night time. Guests need to be cautious of coming and going from the sliding door at night time as bugs are attracted to the light-There are 4 steps to get to the front door
