It’s 30 miles to Hawaii Volcano National Park and to Mauna Kea Observation Center, 2.5 miles to the University of Hawaii, 1 mile to Imaloa Center, 5 miles to Hilo Downtown and to Rainbow Falls, and a short drive from all the main waterfalls and Park Beaches. It’s also barely 2 miles from the entrance to Saddle Road and easy to find.
