Built in 1908, the Ford Family Cottage offers a mixture of comfort, luxury, magnificent panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and wonderful open spaces. Nothing welcomes guests like the big southern-style screened porch overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the best room in the house, and a place where relaxing happens naturally! Wake up every morning to ‘no agenda’ and ocean breezes! Two master bedroom suites are flanked by french doors which open to the main level porch. The rooms feature queen size beds and ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs, a third bedroom features built-in bunk beds, a total of four twin size mattresses. It’s the perfect slumber party spot for the younger crowd. An adjoining fourth bedroom on the second floor offers a queen bed and a balcony with panoramic ocean views. For culinary enthusiasts, the kitchen has plenty of space and all the tools for a serious chef. It is well-equipped with a gas range, double ovens, two large refrigerators to keep those beach coolers chilled and full! If you prefer to dine out, the home’s location at Station 22.5 and Atlantic Avenue is ideal. You’re within walking distance to the freshest seafood on the island and the many fabulous restaurants to choose from. The Ford Cottage is a perfectly appointed vacation rental with all the charm and amenities of home. It is ideal for families, accommodating 8 to 10 guests most comfortably.
