Fall asleep to the sound of the waves rolling onto the beach… Wake up to sparkling ocean sunrises… have your morning coffee or tea on one of our three oceanside decks. What a way to start your day! Whatever your beach pleasure, we’ve set the stage for a restorative ocean getaway at our home, the Pleasant View.The house sleeps 8 comfortably, with 1 king and 1 queen on the second floor and 4 twins (not bunks) on the third floor loft. There’s enough bathroom space for everyone with 2 half baths and a 3/4 bath with a 5′ custom-built marble shower with 2 shower heads.We go through extensive efforts to assure that the Pleasant View feels like home, cleaning it top to bottom every time with a phenomenal housekeeping crew. Our team is paid a living wage and is the same crew who has been caring for my own family for years. Other amenities include: a fully equipped and fully applianced kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioner, gas grill, linens and bath towels, beach chairs, oceanside dining, a kitchen welcome kit and hand soaps at all sinks.And let’s mention one more of our favorite things, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO LAUNDRY BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Have the whole family bag their own bedding and towels and be on your way! At the Pleasant View, the departure procedure is so simple; we want to maximize your vacation time spent together on the beach, not on chores.So what will you do first? Step down from the lower deck onto the beach and walk for hours collecting ‘beach treasures’? See what you can find in the tide pools at low tide? Bring your gear and fish from the shore for striped sea bass? Being this close to the water is such a guilty pleasure. Have fun planning! And if any questions come up, give us a message.
