You simply will not find a nicer cabin in a more idealic setting.Guest accessYou will enjoy access to the entire home and nearly 1,000 feet of private riverfront as we own two additional lots and three adjacent homes.Other things to noteNote that our base rate is for up to 4 people and that the rate increases $15 per night per each additional Guest up to 8 total Guests or an additional $60 per night. This allows us to offer a more reasonable rate for smaller parties.PETS- While we do allow a pet, we only allow one dog that is 50 pounds or less and at least 2 years old. We require a Vet Health Certificate confirming the dog’s age, weight, and that its vaccinations are current along with a photo of the dog. Note that there is a pet fee of $35/night with a $70 minimum charge per stay.Finally, while access to the cabin is generally easy(we drive a Hyundai Sonota Hybrid), the last ~1/3 of a mile is on a community maintained gravel road. Parking is on the street which is quiet and little travelled. There are ~ two flights of stairs from the street down to the cabin.Any reservations made within 48 hours of the arrival date will be subject to a $25 priority processing fee that is required by our security department.In regard to our bunk room, please follow all the guidelines below if you are planning on utilizing the upper bunk beds.• Keep bunk beds placed in the corners of the room so that there are walls on two sides. DO NOT MOVE BUNK BEDS from their positions.• Never allow children under 6 years of age to sleep in the upper bunks.• Emphasize to children that they should always use the ladder and not other furniture to climb into or out of the bunk bed.• Instruct all children that bunk beds are not to be roughhoused on at any time.• If any are present, please remove dangerous objects from around the bed.• Never hang belts, scarves or ropes from the bunkbed, as these items could strangle a child.Please note that any use of the upper bunk beds is done so at your own risk. ALWAYS use caution and make certain that your children also always know to use caution. If you would like other sleeping arrangements provided, please just let us know so we can provide an air mattress or other bedding accommodation.We will be available to help at any time during your stay. We have lived in the area for years and are happy to help in any way we can. From restaurants to activities, our Welcome Book which will be provided covers many details of the area.Coosawattee River Resort is a gated community that consists of over 5,500 acres. Amenities offered within the community include parks, tennis courts, a rec center with an indoor pool, and more. Note that all these amenities are now included with our $60 Resort Fee for up to 8 adults and unlimited kids! Two Guest Cards are provided at the cabin with each card admitting up to 4 adults to any of the facilities. Any kids must always be accompanied by adults. Please note that Guests are responsible for making certain the cards are returned to the cabin at the end of their stay.
