The Riverhouse – an all season rental is a small shingled cottage located along the Penobscot River. Completely renovated in 1987, the cottage affords our guests views of the river and bay. A walk through fields and adjoining shore path leads you to a secluded beach where you can fish, sunbathe, swim or walk for miles. Located along Maine’s mid coast region, it provides a perfect ‘place of port’ for day excursions. The many antiques shops and fine restaurants in the neighboring towns provide the visitor with many avenues of enjoyment. Or, you may choose to relax, read or just take a nap in the afternoon sun on the deck surrounded by abundant rose bushes.
