No cable TV but there is a TV and DVD player.There are so many tourist attractions in the area it would be impossible to name them all. Enjoy all the amenities of nearby Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor with just a 25 minute drive (approximately 3 miles away by water). Northeast and Southwest Harbor and Blue Hill are all close by.. The main commercial area is Ellsworth (15 minutes drive) with everything you could ever need. There are numerous music festivals throughout the summer, excellent restaurants, and even a cinema for rainy days. Fun attractions include several scenic flight and whale watch companies, professional kayak tours, logging shows, outstanding golf courses as well as miniature golf, and much more. Blunt’s Pond is a beautiful and clean spring-fed swimming pond about a 12 minute easy walk on the woods path and of course you can brave the Atlantic on the shore. Lamoine Beach is a couple miles down the road as is the Lamoine State Park.Our wonderful compound which has been in our family for generations is located on the east end of Berry’s Cove with great views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mt. Desert Island along with direct access to the shore across the front lawn. With a southwest exposure, you’ll love the bright sunny days and gorgeous sunsets. You’ll be surrounded by lots of wonderful wildlife, including eagles, loons, herons, and many other sea and shore birds.Minimum rental is 4 days.Please Note: DreamShore Studio is on 12 acres of shorefront property that also includes our winter and summer homes .
