This mountain home features stunning views of the ski slopes and accommodates 16 guests comfortably. The 3,000 square feet of living space offers the perfect split layout for multiple families to share. Natural light brightens the open living room, kitchen, and dining area with a bonus game table (board games are provided). Breathe in fresh mountain air on the front deck overlooking the views of the mountains, or grill out on the back deck and enjoy the gas fire table. Washer and dryer are available.The house is built on the side of a mountain so guests will park at the top of a steep driveway that’s accessible to all vehicles but may require 4-wheel drive in icy/snowy weather. Parking is limited in the driveway to 3-4 vehicles and additional vehicles can park off the street or in resort parking lots.SURROUNDING AREA: Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. If you use charcoal in the gas grill you will be billed for damages (including but not limited to a new grill.)If any items are unplugged from an outlet or device (like a TV), please be sure to plug it back in before checkout.Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.Turn off all lights when leaving the property.Please read the checkout instructions on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that checkout is at 10 AM.Interior locked closets are off limits to guests.Only registered guests are to be in the house.Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use.Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at checkout.
