Air condition and heat is controlled using the Nest thermostat.Hiking (amazing nearby hiking), biking, running, fishing, tennis (Weston High School courts), farm stands, orchards and lots more to explore.Only 4 miles from the Merritt Parkway and 15 minutes from Interstate 95. Even though the home is only minutes from Westport, the Merritt Parkway and I-95, you are in the country, surrounded by views of the river and nature from every room. Healthy energy flows throughout the home and property. A beautiful place to unwind and relax. Crack the window open and hear the soothing sounds of flowing water. The living room has a leather sofa that opens to a comfortable queen size bed, along with a love-seat and comfortable chair/ottoman. Reclaimed wood planked floors throughout.Weston is within approximately an hour of New York City, 10 minutes to world-class restaurants in Westport, Southport, Norwalk and 4 miles from Devil’s Den nature preserve filled with hiking and walking trails (you can even view Keith Richard’s compound from the trails). We are also thirty minutes from New Haven and less than a 3 hour drive from Boston.Weston is a small community of about 10,000 residents. It has a town center with just seven shops including The Lunch Box (a quaint little restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner), a gas station, post office, Lang’s pharmacy, Peters Market, liquor store, dry cleaners, hardware store and bank. Weston has no highways, byways, or though roads. It is the perfect place for relaxing, bike riding, walking, reading, writing or just contemplating.The Westport Metro North stop is 15 minutes away and has frequent trains to and from New York City. Amtrak has a regional hub located in Stamford about 25 minutes from Weston. Westchester Airport is located about 30 minutes from Weston. It is small, convenient and has direct flights to most of the country.
