As the third largest body of water in Colorado, it’s a great spot for boating, paddleboarding, and fishing for trout and kokanee salmon. Arapahoe National Recreation Area, Shadow Mountain National Recreation Area, and Shadow Mountain Lake are all within three miles. If you’re looking to explore Rocky Mountain National Park, the west entrance is just 12 miles north.Greet each morning outside on the second-floor balcony, where you can sit back with a mug of coffee and a view across the meadow and mountains.
