Your bungalow is one of the original Islamorada bungalows built in the late 60’s. Meticulously restored to far better than new condition. Castaway Island is tucked away in a small, quant community of 6 at Mile Marker 76.5. Sitting totally private at the end of the street. You will feel as you are on a tropical island by yourselves. We try to not to be “just a nice place to sleep”. We hope you want to spend all of your time right here. Start the morning off having coffee on the 400 square foot deck amongst the coconut trees and lush tropical landscape. Now you’re ready to enjoy some Yoga outside with the comfortable yoga mats we provide. Stream some soft music vis blutooth from the tiki bar right below. .Start the 2nd half of the day using our kayaks or stand up paddle boards from our community boat ramp down the street. If that doesnt do it, hop on the provided bikes and ride up to Robbies world famous marina for lunch at less than a mile away. Now maybe its time to hop down to tje tiki bar and fire up the BBQ while enjoying the game on the 55″ outdoor TV. Maybe crank up the blender located in the tiki’s cocktail station while jamming some Jimmy Buffet Tunes in the Tiki on the blue tooth Marine Stereo built right in. When it gets dark buikd a fire in tje outdoor firepit and enjoy the cool winter evenings right here in the tiki garden. Maybe throw on the swimsuits and go for a soak in the private hot tub built into the front deck? The large shared pool is heated in winter and chilled in the summer.Our bungalow sits at the end of the road separated from the other six bungalows in the community by the tropically landscaped private pool. Heated in the winter and chilled in the summer and shared by only six others, most often you will find it to yourselves..on your private front deck you will find our brand new private just for you 5 person Jacuzzi. Complete with LED lighting and waterfall your winter evenings can be spent right here with a glass of wine!Your front recreation area complete with lounge chairs, sofa sized outdoor chair, tiki torches for warm summer evenings. A cornhole game for family fun and a beautiful wood burning fire pit. The entire area is beautifully over-lit by solar string cafe lighting. Soak in the gorgeous pool heated year round to 89 degrees. Reading the reviews you will see that most days you will find yourselves the only ones enjoying it. Out back of the bungalow is a regulation horseshoe pit and even a bristle kid friendly axe throwing lane. The bungalow features all updated furnishings and fixtures in 2022.1 king sized and 1 queen sized bedroom,1 full bathroom with brand new shower and fixtures, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, central AC, high speed WiFi with +520 mbs , Xfinity cable with HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Regional Sports Package, NFL and Redzone channel with over 300 channels of entertainment and in home washer/dryer. While the home is a true bungalow it is ideal for stays for 2-4 people. However, the living room does have a full-size sleeper pullout for small children. The bungalow also has access to the private and locked boat ramp at the end of the street for your use. NO DOCK, key will be provided with key deposit, your boat, trailer and cars are welcome. We have ample parking for all. Less than a quarter mile to the open ocean and a direct shot to the world-famous Alligator Reef lighthouse. For your use we provide, 2 bikes, 2 single Ocean Kayaks, 5 beach chairs, ice chests, Beach umbrella, 2 full size Ultralite Stand Up Paddle Boards, life jackets, bike helmets, outdoor grill, and more!
