Description
Small charming open plan cabin called the Hideaway, situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor.The Hideaway is a 5 minute walk into the center of Southwest Harbor, a 20 minute drive to Bar Harbor, and only 5 minutes drive to Acadia National Park. Over half of Southwest harbor is park land.The Hideaway is a tiny home. It has 160 square feet of living space and an additional deck with 35 square feet. Making a total of 195 square feet.The bed is a full size bed.Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and groceries. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here. Ask Marc for a hiking map to explore Acadia.You can walk to the Charlotte Rhoades Butterfly Garden, the Kayak shop, Southwest Cycle and rent bikes to explore the Carriage Roads!Echo Lake a great swimming hole is only a 10 minute drive if you want to take a dip.Washer/Dryer in the Hospitality Suite, DVD library, organic vegetable garden you can pick from, fire pit area, wild blueberry patch, outdoor lawn games, Free WiFi.There is no kitchen. There is a hot plate, small fridge, sink, toaster oven and utensils. There is no dishwasher. There is a weber propane grill outside. We supply the propane.There is an outside sitting area.The TV is for DVD viewing only, you can borrow hundreds of DVDs from our Hospitality Suite.There is a free washer/dryer in the Hospitality Suite on the property.
