The split system units are not working. The owners will be installing a new system later next year so if your dates are mid-late 2024 we will have that complete by then.We have ceiling fans throughout the unit in every room and the trade winds are usually constant and keep the unit cool with everything open. There are also many dining and shopping options in both directions on Kihei Road.PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world.Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected.
