This beautiful, newly renovated home sits on 192 feet of shoreline along the east side of Torch Lake, just north of the quaint town of Alden. Two years of painstaking renovations have brought this lodge back to life. It’s a place you’ll never forget. You will enjoy making family memories that will last a lifetime. The lodge has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and a gourmet kitchen to die for! The highest end finishes on everything.Marble counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms. Marble tile in all bathrooms. The great room, with it’s massive two+ story stone fireplace and hand-crafted beams, will wow you. There are two large master en suites with fireplaces overlooking Torch Lake. The craftsmanship in this home is second to none. This is a unique opportunity to stay on Torch in pure luxury, with the historic charm of a lodge. The home will sleep 12 maximum. Owners are looking for renters who are going to take great care of their prized home.There is a mooring anchor to tie up your boat. You cannot tie a boat up to the dock.If you are looking to explore the area, this is the perfect location. Located a mile north of Alden, your adventure starts here. Boat to the Alden marina and explore the quaint town, offering local shops, dining, wine tasting at the Vista Ridge Winery and hand-dipped ice cream to enjoy while taking in the lake views. Venturing to the NE, you’ll find Bellaire, or to the west is Elk Rapids and Traverse City. These areas offer quaint and unique shops and dining options. Sample award-winning craft beers at Short’s Brewery in Bellaire or Elk Rapids or check out some locally distilled liquor at Mammoth Distillery’s tasting room in Bellaire. The possibilities are endless.If you are looking for some fun day trips, try the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Empire or Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Island.
