Tahoe Donner boasts a premier Nordic center with 70 km of trails, excellent for both beginner and advanced cross country skiers. Five minutes away, The Trout Creek Recreation Center has an exercise facility with state of the art exercise equipment, fitness classes, an adult lap pool that is heated to 82 degrees year-round, saunas, and massage treatments.In the non-winter months, the Tahoe Donner amenities include a private beach on the east side of Donner Lake, where you can enjoy a BBQ, swimming, boat/kayak rentals and the use of the private boat launch. Crawdad fishing is a favorite of the kids in the marina. There are three swimming pools, tennis courts and bocce ball courts. Also biking trails, hiking, campgrounds and a world-class 18 hole golf course. Oh yes, there is also an equestrian center with pony rides for kids. Tahoe City and Kings Beach are less than 15 miles away.
