It is located just one block away from the world famous Duval Street and is within walking distance of many Key West attractions including Fort Zachary Taylor Beach and Park, Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, and local shops and restaurants.The Space:This studio has two king beds and one brand new queen size pullout couch and one full bathroom. It sleeps six comfortably.There is a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and microwave.Enjoy the sun-filled private balcony with a hammock, extra seating & space to relax.Guest Access:Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to check-in to enter the unit.Shared features: The brick driveway is a shared walkway for all 3 units in the compound. There is also a communal washer/dryer in the driveway area along with the trash/recycle bins.How to Access: Second floor studio with stair access only.The Neighborhood:Located on Whitehead St which is 1 block from world famous Duval St, “Traveler’s Palm” is walking distance to nearly everything you will want to experience during your escape to Key West. Walk to popular spots like The Southernmost Point, Key West Lighthouse, Blue Heaven, Firefly, Green Parrot and the Earnest Hemingway Home which are all just right down the street. Want to hit the beach? Head down to Ft Zach State Park & Beach and enjoy the crystal clear waters and beautiful quiet beaches for a small admission fee.Getting Around:Parking Information: There is no on-site parking for this unit. For overnight parking, here are some parking lot options:• 204 Simonton Street• Caroline Street Outdoor Parking Lot• Park N Ride Old Town GarageStreet parking information:• There are pay-to-park spots and meters – it is free from 12am – 8pm. There is a 3 day limit.• The neighborhoods of Old Town offer some free parking spaces, but be aware that many of the spots are marked “Residential Only” and visitors are NOT permitted to park in them.There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by feet. As this unit is located in downtown Key West, many attractions are within walking distance. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!Other Things to Note:- Recently updated! Spring 2024!- You can reserve this studio along with the downstairs house Coconut Palm. To reserve the entire compound with access to both the private hot tub, pool, parking and grill you can reserve Southern Palms which sleeps up to 16 guests.- There is a shared washer/dryer in the driveway available for use.- Pets are welcome! Our requirements are as follows:•40lb maximum per pet•$15/night per pet•2 pet maximumPlease let us know if you plan on bringing your pet.
