There are hiking trails along the Boardman River and the Sand Lakes Quiet area plus many quiet interesting spots to hike near Perch Lake. Scenery is beyond compare in all directions.Travel about 50 miles west to spend a day at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It has been designated “One of the most Beautiful Places in America.” You will find many more lakes and rivers as well as hiking and biking trails.
