If you prefer hiking to driving, you can walk from the driveway straight onto trails to Big Creek, the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees, Buffin Meadow, and Star Lakes. If you’re here for a conference at Tenaya Lodge, it’s only a very short walk or drive along 41, past the local pond and the Fish Camp Market. And if you’re only here for some well-earned rest, just take a seat on one of the decks, grab a coffee or a beer, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Inside the cabin, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing family dinners, and a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. The TV has Netflix access and a standard DVD player, and free WIFI is available throughout the house. Every room features carefully chosen Yosemite artwork on the walls. The dining room has a large table that you can extend to seat 10, a cupboard full of games and puzzles, several books on Yosemite, and a Crosley record player with a stack of albums for your use.
