TREEHOUSE! BREATHTAKING MAINE MOUNTAIN ESCAPE – close to lakes, rivers, hikingAn exquisite treehouse nestled in the hills of beautiful Rumford Point, Maine. STELLAHOUSE, the first of three, named after my sweet boxer.Stellahouse is situated on 43 wooded acres of hilly land. You are able to drive to within 125′ of the treehouse. From there the walk is sloped to flat and staired areas, to a bridge traversing 40′ to the stairs leading up to the entry and 8′ x 12′ screen porch.There is a gondola to carry your luggage, groceries, ski boots, etc. to the deck.As you enter the cathedral ceiling living room through the screen porch, the kitchen with full size stainless steel appliances is directly ahead. To the right you’ll find a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom I only wish I had in my house!Decks wrap around three sides of Stellahouse, one of which holds a full-size hot tub.Stained glass windows adorn the winding staircase to the master bedroom. A king size bed, birch railing balcony overlooking the living room and two upholstered swivel chairs peer through a huge casement window to the forest floor, 30′ below.Pet Friendly! Your friendly, well-behaved dogs are allowed with a Security Deposit – Please contact me in advance if you’re bringing your fur family.It’s a fabulous secluded, wooded, private cabin in the trees on a hillside. Western Maine is a 4-season playground. Alpine and x-country skiing, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, zip-lining, antiquing, golfing, and more!
