Description

Triple Threat Lodge is surrounded by trees with a large backyard that’s a natural wonderland. Soak up nature with the backyard swing, open yard space, and hiking trails that lead across a babbling brook and into the woods. The fire table on the back deck is a fantastic place to enjoy in the evenings! The lower level family room is set up for family fun and is great for kids of all ages, as well as those who are still kids at heart. Enjoy air hockey, Xbox or your choice of several board games. Your entire family will enjoy this amazing setting that will make you feel like you have your own private forest to explore.4 bedrooms, 3 bathsBedroom 1: Main level, king bedBedroom 2: Upstairs, 2 queen bedsBedroom 3: Upstairs, king bedBedroom 4: Downstairs, twin bunk, full size futonAll linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.*The driveway fits 2-4 vehicles and additional vehicles can park in resort parking lots.SURROUNDING AREA: Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.This home is not affiliated with Massanutten Resort. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. The pool is a community pool for the private homes in Massanutten. It is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day for $6/person/day (subject to change). Pool availability is subject to, and at, the discretion of the Massanutten Property Owner Association. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort’s website. **Please note due to current COVID-19 decreased capacity restrictions, some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.***Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs.*Indoor fireplace use is discouraged from May 15-September 15, and firewood will not be provided during that time.*This home is located in the woods.
