This property comfortably sleeps 6 with 4 adults max and two children.Northeast Harbor Maine is famous for its summer residents, a beautiful protected harbor with exclusive yachts and sailing vessels, and Acadia National Park. Lilac is a unique open and airy cottage offering a main house and a guest house connected by the spacious gathering deck. The Main house is comprised of a great room with open kitchen/living room concept that offers a Queen size bedroom and bathroom in the upstairs loft. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling A/C needs in the great room. The connecting guest house contains two full and private bedrooms both attaching separately to a full bath. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and a 2nd bedroom with sturdy twin bunk beds. This unique design sleeps 6, a maximum 4 adults with 2 children and offers extra privacy for two families traveling together or In-laws traveling with you. It also works very well for traveling with older children so you may each enjoy your own space while still spending time as a family. Northeast Harbor is a quaint little village close to all that Acadia National Park offers this unique island. Some of the best hiking biking trails are less than 5 minutes up the road by car. Spectacular Asticou and Azalea gardens are within a 5 minute walk! There is a great path behind the guest house that brings you into down town within a minute, while still being away from downtown. Perfect location within a couple of minutes walk to all downtown shops, restaurants, as well as the marina, yet you are tucked in on a small side street never knowing you are that close to the downtown.Please note: We are dog friendly, however, you must inquire first with breed and size.
