Upgraded 5th Flr Pelican Beach Resort -1 bedroom – On the beach-Our family vacation condo is right at the beach with unobstructed Gulf views from the living room, balcony, kitchen and dinner area. It has new floors and brand new kitchen and new furniture. Everything is upgraded. Bunk beds have flat screen TV’s. The views, especially sunsets from 5th floor patio is amazing. I offer beach chairs/umbrella, Neflix at every TV and free high speed Wifi. Pelican Beach Resort has very loyal customers that come back again and again every year.This is a no smoking facility, smoking is not allowed inside the unit or on the balcony. Resort has the eviction power for those who do not follow the rules. Smoking is only allowed at two designated locations at the Resort.We do not offer any military or other discounts. Applicable last minute specials are already built-in to the daily rates. -You pay full amount to confirm your reservation. Please check applicable cancellation policy below-We do a credit card authorization of $300 as a security/damage deposit, one day before check-in, but never charge your credit card. We automatically release this authorization hold 1 day after check-out. -This item may be stated as “deposit paid at the property” in the quote-There is no road to pass, we are directly on the beach.During March-October there is beach service at the Pelican Private Beach and beach vendor does not allow chairs/umbrella in front of their rental chairs. For guests that prefer 1st or 2nd row seats, we provide their contact information, so you may reserve seats in advance.PETS are not allowed per the HOA (no matter how small).If you reached us through vrbo/homeaway/expedia you will have to book through that channel as we do not accept direct bookings when approached through those channels. For repeat guests we may provide our vacationsatdestin site.We do not have snowbird monthly rates. We provide a 20% discount for stays longer than 28 days. This discount is already built into the rate you see when you go to “pay now”.Our similar other unit’s VRBO listing numbers are given at the end of this description. You may check those if your dates do not show availability.Cleaning and linen fees are included in our pricing under “Resort Fee”. The longer you stay, the less rent you pay per night since the Resort fee is averaged over your stay.You will feel the luxury all around you in this condo. The unit is updated with granite countertops and new vanities. Kitchen cabinets are upgraded. All of the appliances are replaced with Stainless Steel LG units. The carpet in the bedroom is replaced with luxury laminate flooring. New 55 inch TV in the bedroom. Brand new custom bank beds. New memory foam Twin mattress in bunk beds. Cool Gel queen memory foam mattress at the sofa bed. New couch in the living room. The unit is tastefully decorated with everything that you would need. We even have built-in usb ports in the kitchen area. We operate the rental ourselves as a family so you will get individual attention from me. I have another unit in Pelican Beach Resort with great reviews and booked throughout the year. This unit has even better views from the 5th floor with a good percentage of sand, ocean and sky. We use same cleaning company with same attention to detail.Coin operated washer/dryer in the floor, next to the elevators at the laundry room (bring 10 quarters for one washer/dryer cycle).You will have access to everything Pelican Beach Resort offers. Amenities include 3 pools, sauna, steam room, cafe, Tiki bar, spa, large open deck, tennis courts.We provide a Pack n’ Play in the unit. (No mattress or linens for Pack n’ Play).We offer a combination Keurig and Regular coffee brewing machine as seen in the listing pictures. Please bring coffee and filters.We provide beach chairs and umbrella in the unit. You may also rent chairs and umbrella from the beach vendor if you so desire. We provide their contact info so you may rent in advance if you wish to have a frond row chairs.There is no check-in or check-out at the lobby. You simply go to the condo, enter the door code and make yourself at home.Stop at Reception only to register (where they check the age requirements), get a parking pass and resort bracelets (during March-October) and sign off of the rules and regulations for the Resort. Please note that maximum of 6 people can register per unit.Our check-in is at 4pm, Check-out is at 10 am. Since you directly go to the unit with your assigned door code, there is no deadline for checking in. You may check-in any time after 4 PM of the check-in day, just like you would at your own vacation home.If you arrive early, feel free to enter into the resort, register at the front desk and get your parking pass and pool bracelets and enjoy the beach and the pools. However we do not allow early check-in’s to the unit especially during high season since the unit is mostly booked back to back and we need extra time to prepare the condoEmail or call/text me when you have questions. I answer within the hour if not right away.We are very close to the Destin Marina and a shopping complex of Target and other convenience stores. Lot’s of restaurants walking distance to the area. The Back Porch, Another Broken Egg Cafe and the cafe inside Pelican Beach Resort next to the heated indoor pool is our favorites. Destin’s favorite water park, The Big Kahuna’s is across the street. Pelican Beach is a location loved by everyone who vacation at DestinPelican Beach Resort has it’s own open and closed parking inside the Resort. Each guest is allowed up to two cars and there is plenty of free parking place for you. You may also bring your boat or RV and park at the open parking area. You do not necessarily need a car during your stay but we recommend it since it makes going to nearby attractions easier.Parking is free right at the resort covered parking area.
