The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, cutlery, microwave, mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The spacious, front porch is a great place to relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the quaint, historic homes on the tree-lined street below.Guest Access:SUITE A is modern, private, spacious, safe and quiet and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: large bed, nice linens, desk area, fast WiFi and smart HDTV for accessing Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc. You will receive specific check-in instructions on the day of your arrival with parking instructions, door code, etc.The Neighborhood:Summerville, a prominant neighborhood in the heart of Augusta, has within walking distance historic mansions, playgrounds, churches, shops, restaurants/bars and Augusta University (AU). 4 mi away is the downtown area, home to the Georgia Cyber Center and a vibrant restaurant, nightlife, shopping, art and music scene. The renowned Medical College of Georgia located on AU’s health sciences campus is 2.5 mi away. Just 2.5 mi away is The Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Golf Tournament.Getting Around:The famed Augusta National Golf Course is a mere 2.5 miles away and can be accessed without having to navigate Washington Road, which is heavily trafficked during the Masters tournament. You can also easily walk to nearby, highly-acclaimed, local restaurants and bars only blocks away. The area is also fortunate to have Lake Thurmond and the Savannah River nearby, so water sports are abundant. You can rent a kayak, paddleboard or canoe and explore the Augusta Canal. At Phinizy Swamp Nature Center, you can go on a hike and look for wildlife. FATS is a great set of trails for mountain biking enthusiasts, trail runners and just the casual nature hike. Need a bike?
