It is a five-minute walk to The Lobster Seafood Co-op for fresh-off-the-boat seafood and views of a real working harbor. Also very close is Rocky Neck, the oldest working art colony in America. You can visit Rocky Neck Beach for panoramic views of the breakwater and Gloucester’s Outer Harbor, and will want to dine at The Rudder or The Studio, both excellent, or sip wine at the Salted Cod artists’ co-op wine bar.
