Walk along bike path to Dog Beach & Surfing- Priced for Affordable Monthly RatesThe deck of this 2 bedroom/2 bath property looks out over Robb Field with open space and athletic fields. Behind this is the San Diego River with a bike path that connects to bike routes that travel throughout San Diego County. Ocean Beach has been described as the place where the sun sets on San Diego, and the sunsets are phenomenal. It is centrally located in coastal San Diego with easy access via both Interstate 5 and 8.Our home is located on the North edge of Ocean Beach, a small beach community of San Diego. It is one of the most relaxed places in all of Southern California. It is one cool and hip place. OB, as it is known, is very laid back, receiving the 2015 Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor. It is a self contained community with excellent restaurants, markets, shops, bars and craft beer. It is home to the longest concrete pier on the west coast, where fishing is legal without a license. Currently, due to storm damage the pier is closed. There is a smaller pier on Shelter Island… if you want to fish without a license.Voltaire Street is two blocks from our home and home to several convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Newport avenue, the main street business area, is a short walk, in fact you can stroll along the beach to get there.There is a bike path that goes along the San Diego River and Mission Bay. It possible to ride to downtown San Diego. If you are feeling adventurous, you can circumnavigate San Diego Bay on the Big Bay Bike Route or ride to Oceanside along the Coast Highway.The kitchen has many handy appliances, including a cuisinart, blender, & crockpot.The deck has a glider and hot tub. You can view Sea World fireworks from the hot tub. Please note that children under 6 are not allowed in the spa.There is also a large shared area that includes a coin operated laundry room. There you can meet my friendly long-term tenants from the other three units.
