The property is on a private peninsula in East Falmouth and a quick walk to the private association beach. Recent upgrades include a large outdoor shower with an enclosed changing area, a private fenced-in yard, new siding, and new smart TVs. No pets allowed – sorry, no exceptions.Highlights:- walk to private beach (3 blocks away, roughly 1/3 mile)- double kayak, stored by the waterfront at the end of our road (paddles and lifevests provided)- optional club membership @ $250/week (heated outdoor pool, bar, in-season pool service, excellent restaurant, mixed-use court for pickleball, tennis and basketball)- 8-10 min drive to public beaches and beautiful estuaries- 3 bedrooms, 2 cozy living rooms, 1 full bath,- Central A/C- full kitchen, with washer/dryer- private patio with Weber grill- new outdoor shower with changing room,- Double hammock,- Large driveway- Stocked shed with some beach equipment and games (+ beach bikes)About the area: This is a secluded peninsula that runs ~ 2 miles long.. Lots of things to do here: Swim, bike, fish, boat, walk, lounge! Adjacent to the historic Washburn Island and Waqouit Bay areas – accessible by kayak. The optional clubhouse provides a terrific restaurant and bar with heated pool during the days- (check the schedule for live music and game nights – $250/week is a subsidized rate).BEDROOMS: The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second room has two twin beds, and the third bedroom has a twin trundle bed (2 twins). A playpen is stored in the closet.Linen are NOT PROVIDED: We recommend convenient rentals from Auntie Vi’s Cape Cod RentalsFAMILY ROOMS: Recliner and smart TV in both rooms. The kitchen den has glass sliding doors and a flat-screen TV with streaming video access. Overlook the private patio and take in the morning sunshine.FULL KITCHEN with the comforts of home (blender, appliances, utensils, pots/pans)1 FULL BATH with tub, plus large outdoor showerYARD:- Private patio and yard (Weber grill, hammock, conveniently stocked shed, small fire pit)/PARKING: Ample parking for 2 cars and a boat.BEACHES: the resident association beach is small & protected by the bay and Washburn Island. Great for young kids! Public beaches are just a 10-minute drive away.STOCKED SHED: We store items for your convenience – beach chairs, umbrella, games/toys, beach cart, life vests, bikes, and child scooters. We do our best to maintain these items between tenants – no guarantees. The kayak is at the ramp just 100′ from the house.NEARBY: Close proximity to Waquoit Reserve, Mashpee Commons Shopping areas, Falmouth boutiques, Cape Cod Winery, Bad Marthas Brewery, Farms, Bike Paths, and Close to steamship authority, golf courses, marinas/boating, shopping, the movies, and more!CLUB OPTION: Avoid Rte 28 traffic hassles and long restaurant waits – use the club! Great restaurant and a diverse menu/bar, live music (check schedule). The heated pool is open from late June 25-mid Aug (schedule publishes in June).NO PETS – NO SMOKING.
