This 3 bedroom house has a mile of Shenandoah Riverfront and is situated on a 200 acre farm. It is a warm and welcoming retreat for family and friends. It also backs up to the George Washington National Forest.You will find all of the comforts you expect in this lovely home. There is a brand-new kitchen that opens to a huge living and dining room with lots of windows, and two decks, so that you can enjoy the unlimited views. There is also a room where you can enjoy board games with your friends or family or perhaps sit and read a good book. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a master bedroom on the main floor. There are two full baths. One off master bedroom 1st floor, 2nd in finished basement next to laundry area. There are many attractions right on the farm itself. Enjoy walking trails along the River and through the meadows. There are kayaks, canoes, to swim or fish, and end with a cookout at the pavilion. Build a fire and roast marshmallows where you enjoy gazing at the millions of stars you never knew were there. Also, you will like exploring the many hiking trails in the National Forest and enjoying the stunning views. Kayak tours on the river are also available.There are Wineries, Breweries, Golf and Antiquing in nearby towns. It’s only a one-hour drive to Washington, D.C. Enjoy other historic sites such as Gettysburg , Luray Caverns, Charlottesville, and Monticello. All are an easy day’s trip. The Historic Triangle of Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown is approximately a 3-hour trip. There are also two ski resorts fairly close – Massanutten is about 55 minutes away and Bryce can be accessed in 35 minutes.Whether you are looking for adventure, solitude, or time with family, you will find it at this wonderful get-away.
