Wake up to an amazing sunrise, the seals swimming up to the cottage with the the tide, and the lobster fishermen starting their day. Sip your coffee on the deck, and catch that eagle or ospree gliding by. With spectacular 180 degree views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mt. Desert Island, Acadia Vista is the perfect spot to enjoy the best of Maine.Acadia Vista cabin has an open living/dining/kitchen area. Two large picture windows look out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped for your family and guests. There is ample counter space, plenty of pots and pans, kitchen gadget and dinnerware. The dining room table can be expanded to seat 8. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, ample closet space and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds that are suitable for children or adults, and a bathroom with a toilet and sink. Linens, blankets and towels are supplied. There are 2 twin sofa beds in the living room for overnight visitors. Acadia Vista cabin also has ROKU TV, and 5G internet access.Located in the famous community of Hancock Point, Oceanfront Acadia Vista cabin offers easy access to Acadia National Park and other attractions, in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Go hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, play tennis.Guests are welcome to borrow the two bicycles (at their own risk) to explore the natural beauty of the area. Kayaks are available for rent locally. There is a quaint summer library on the main road, and a lovely non-denominational chapel that offers worship services during the summer months, a clay tennis court, sailing and sailing lessons, guest boat moorings at the town dock. Hancock Point also boasts a wonderful restaurant and Inn, the Crocker House (1/2 mile).Your 1 dog is welcome with a signed pet agreement and $100 pet fee per stay.Approximately 18 miles to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Schoodic mountain, Schoodic Point approx. 18 miles. Winter Harbor has a ferry directly to Bar Harbor, about 10 miles away. Close to trails, beach, and dock within 5 minutes walking. Waterfront access by stairs in front of the house!5 miles to Ellsworth for Hannafords, Shaws, restaurants and shopping.** A 3% credit card processing fee will be charged on all cancellations.
