Lake Chatuge is a man-made reservoir with 132 miles of shoreline set to the backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains, just six miles away. Residents and visitors flock to Towns County during peak season for the boating, swimming, skiing, fishing, and camping opportunities this beautiful lake hosts. Located off Highway 76, the Towns County Recreational Beach offers free parking and beach access with a large playground, a roped-off swimming area, a covered pavilion, picnic tables, and chair rentals. Other must-visit attractions include the Appalachian Trail, Bell Mountain, Brasstown Bald, and High Shoals Falls.As soon as you enter this creekside home, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and plenty of light. The enclosed deck off the living area offers a lovely space to unwind around the fire table or host memorable barbecues using the gas grill.The lower level is home to an entertaining recreation area with a pool table, a dartboard, and cozy seating in front of a TV and electric fireplace. From here, you can easily access the deck with a private hot tub and forest views.
