The back of the house is west facing, meaning it receives maximum sunshine and overlooks incredible sunsets on the water.The peaceful, crystal clear, 36-acre, 24-foot deep lake is great for swimming, kayaking, fishing and is the third cleanest body of water in Massachusetts. The gradually sloping sandy lake bottom is great for children. There is also a beautiful sandy beach on the lake with picnic tables, available only to those staying on the pond. If you prefer the ocean, Scusset Beach State Reservation in Bourne is just a 15 minute drive. This home comes with a canoe and kayak, and there is a hammock waiting at the edge of the water.Plenty of stores and restaurants just ten minutes away on Cranberry Highway, and a country store (Sandy Pond Campground) just a half mile from the home.
