Perched next to the Big Laurel River trout stream, the home has views of the stream from most all of the many windows. Listen to the stream rushing by. Mostly private setting near the end of the road; you can see one other home but its down a ways. Gated community that is like having a park almost to yourself, there are only 16 homes within about 300 acres. A short hike up the mountain provides awe-inspiring mountain views. Seven miles to the quaint village of Hot Springs and the infamous natural mineral springs for soaking in, along Spring Creek and the French Broad River for rafting and kayaking. The Appalachian Trail goes through Hot Springs and the ridgeline of the AT can be viewed within the community. Come and visit the Blue Ridge Mountains at their finest; turkey, bear, bobcat, deer, raccoon, hawks, eagles, and owls share the neighborhood. The area is famous for its hiking, fishing and water sports.
