Make Whispering Pines your home base for your Yosemite vacation! This little cabin is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. As you enter the home you are greeted by warm custom wood work, all locally sourced and milled from Ponderosa Pines that were devastated by the bark beetle. Marvel at the blue tint and borrowing holes left behind by the beetle. The living room has a leather sofa set with queen size sofa bed (recommended for kids only), 43″ smart UHD TV with dish network and DSL WiFi. The bedroom hosts a medium firm queen size hybrid mattress and custom made Ponderosa Pine headboard. The bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower and hand held shower head. The kitchen has all appliances including dishwasher, microwave, toaster and blender. All cookware and utensils provided. The spacious rear deck has a propane Weber Grill and we provide the propane. Located in central Wawona you can enjoy walks through the community, take a dip in the Merced River on warm summer days or stargaze at the Yosemite night sky. Wawona is home to the Pioneer history museum, the trail head for the Chilnualna Falls trail, close to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and one of the few locations in the park with local market and gas.This home is pet friendly for an additional fee.
