It is a “dining out” culture, so I would recommend you get reservations at wherever you chose. (Yes, even at Lulu and Las Casuelas.) Actually, especially at these two spots!!!There are several terrific grocery stores nearby, including an Albertson’s that is literally 5 minutes away. Stocking the refrigerator for your stay won’t be a problem!One can also find churches and synagogues close by.The desert and surrounding cities have many world famous events, sporting, pop, and cultural in nature.There are several professional golf tournaments featuring the PGA, LPGA, and Sr. PGA tours. There is BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament that is one of the most popular stops on that tour annually.Mid Century Modernism Week has become a destination event for anyone interested in this important period of American design.
