Sorry this cottage is suitable for adults only, no children and NOT pet friendly.*Windrose Cottage is a wonderful quiet place to connect with nature, read a good book and share a romantic retreat! Windrose Cottage sits on 3 acres of spectacular ocean bluffs in the stunning Baker Ranch community. Guests can unplug and unwind at Windrose Cottage or curl up and enjoy the Wifi and new t.v.! Let the sound of the bell buoy lull you to sleep. Located just a few miles from Trinidad, Take a 10 minute walk to Baker Beach to go tide-pooling and enjoy a picnic. The uphill hike back up from this beach is a good work out and requires sturdy hiking shoes or take a short drive to one of Trinidad’s more accessible but equally spectacular beaches, Moonstone or Trinidad State Beach.The cottage is a quaint one room suite with an open floor plan filled with warmth and charm. Start the day sipping coffee on the sunny deck, taking in great ocean views and breathing the sea air. The queen bedroom is cozy, comforting and romantic with a gas wood stove, Queen Tempurpedic bed, high quality linens and great coastal decor. Enjoy a nap or good book in the comfortable recliner by the gas wood stove. Soak up some deep relaxation in the claw foot tub (w/ hand held shower) after some Redwood adventures. The kitchen is small but well equipped with a wooden butcher block island, gas stove & grill, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and blender. Sorry, no oven or dishwasher but plenty of quality cookware provided. Nice dine in kitchen area has a lovely table for two or open the French doors and dine on the deck. Visit local farmer’s and fish markets to cook a great local meal on the charcoal barbecue.This is a shared property with the lovely owners living in their separate main home. They welcome guests to enjoy wandering the 3 acres of ocean view property, sit on the red meditation bench and soak up the serenity. There is a large Native American inspired sauna that guests may sneak a peak of but are not permitted to use, sorry. The owners are very friendly and will respect guests privacy and asks guests to kindly do the same. Don’t miss out on this wonderful one of a kind vacation cottage. A real Trinidad gem!**No washer/dryer.
