SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER (EXCLUDING THANKSGIVING) 4 GUESTS OR LESS STAY FOR $350 A NIGHT.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CHARMING 1930’S CLASSIC BEACH COTTAGE TUCKED JUST ONE HOUSE IN FROM THE BEACH – YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO CROSS A ROAD. WHENEVER I STEP INSIDE I FIND MYSELF IMAGINING TAKING MY VACATION AT THIS DREAMY LOCATION WHERE THE DAYS ARE WARM, THE BEACH IS GORGEOUS AND THE PACE IS SLOW ON AN ISLAND WHICH STILL HAS THE OLD TIME FLORIDA VIBE. IT REALLY DOESN’T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.LOVINGLY RESTORED, THE COTTAGE IS DECEPTIVELY SPACIOUS FROM THE OUTSIDE AND WILL COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE ONE OR TWO FAMILIES.ON WALKING INSIDE, YOU WILL FIND A LARGE OPEN LIVING AREA WITH STEPS DOWN TO A LOWER FAMILY ROOM THAT LEADS TO THE PRIVATE HEATED POOL. ANOTHER SITTING ROOM WITH A SMALL DESK AREA IS LOCATED OFF THE KITCHEN. IN THE FAMILY ROOM YOU WILL FIND A 55″ FLAT SCREEN TV WITH DVR AND DVD PLAYER.THE FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, WHICH OVERLOOKS THE DINING AREA, HAS TWO SEPARATE WORK AREAS WITH DUAL SINKS AND AN EXTRA REFRIGERATOR FOR DRINKS AND AN ICE MAKER. THE KITCHEN WITH ITS GRANITE COUNTER TOPS HAS A MICROWAVE, DISHWASHER, STOVE AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL. THERE IS A COFFEE MAKER, BLENDER, TOASTER AND HAND MIXER.ON ONE SIDE OF THE COTTAGE YOU WILL FIND THE MASTER BEDROOM WHICH OVERLOOKS THE GARDEN AND HAS A KING SIZE BED AND DOUBLE CLOSET. NEXT TO THE MASTER IS THE SECOND BEDROOM WITH A FULL/TWIN BUNK BED AND TV.THE THIRD BEDROOM WITH ITS QUEEN SIZE BED, TWO CLOSETS AND TV IS LOCATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COTTAGE. THERE ARE TWO BATHROOMS – ONE WITH A WALK IN SHOWER AND THE OTHER WITH A COMBINATION BATH/SHOWER.WE KNOW YOU ARE ON VACATION BUT IF YOU DO NEED TO DO WASHING YOU WILL FIND A LARGE LAUNDRY ROOM WITH WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER.FROM THE FAMILY ROOM STEP OUTSIDE INTO YOUR TROPICAL OASIS WITH A LOVELY FREE FORM SALT WATER POOL – WHAT A LOVELY SPOT TO RELAX IN ONE OF THE CHAISE LOUNGERS. HERE YOU WILL ALSO FIND A LARGE COVERED SEATING AREA COMPLETE WITH COMFORTABLE SOFA AND CHAIRS. A GAS GRILL AND OUTSIDE SHOWER WITH HOT AND COLD WATER COMPLETE THIS PIECE OF PARADISE. THERE IS A CART TO CARRY ALL YOUR GEAR WHEN YOU ARE READY TO TAKE THAT SHORT STROLL TO THE BEACH.As a courtesy to our guests we heat the pool from December to April. There will be days when the weather conditions will not allow pool heaters to accommodate swimming and temperature recovery times will vary.While the pool is heated during the winter months, we do occasionally get cold spells that can send the temperatures down into 60’s and 50’s. This will cause the pool water temperature to drop and the pool pump will no longer be able to heat the pool, and it automatically shut down temporarily as a safety feature.THERE IS OFF ROAD PARKING FOR 4 CARS.HOLMES BEACH HAS A 7 NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL REQUIREMENT.VRC16-000438
