Description
York Street Gem – A Taste of 1800s SavannahSummary:This gorgeous historic gem from the early 1800’s sits on York Street in the heart of downtown. We are within walking distance to all that Savannah has to offer, including River Street, City Market, The Pirate’s House, Leopold’s Ice Cream, The Olde Pink House and SO much more! Though we are close to everything, the house is situated on a quiet block right near Greene Square and is perfect for those light sleepers like us ๐ If you’re looking to step back in time and have a true Savannah experience in a house with obvious original features, look no further!!The Space:Yes, this home is from the 1800’s and it shows! With its huge trim, tall, dramatic ceilings and gorgeous heart of pine floors, the place is dripping with character and charm. We offer 3 king beds, 2 full baths and a half bath with a washer/dryer. We have a Zen-filled, private courtyard wrapped in bamboo and sunshine that is perfect for those “warm” Savannah evenings! Being an original old townhome, it is 3 stories. The master bedroom that offers a huge jacuzzi tub and separate shower sits on the second floor. Upstairs from that are the two other bedrooms with a shared bath at the end of the hall. **We have free WiFi and Cable TV with ESPN Package**Guest Access:The entire home is yours! We offer 2 free parking spots in the back along the gate (only 2 cars and must park one in front of the other). The courtyard is totally private, we just ask that you keep the late-night partying inside after 11 :)The Neighborhood:We are in the heart of the Historic District where everything is walkable. It is a fairly quiet, residential area with plenty of full time residents living throughout. The nights are so slow and quiet that hearing the horse-drawn carriages are louder than people/cars! We are a stone’s throw away from Greene Square and some of Savannah’s most famous restaurant’s and shops. The list goes on and on but some of our favorites include 17Hundred90, The Olde Pink House, Screamin Mimi’s, Hitch, J. Christopher’s, Leopold’s Ice Cream, Fox & Fig Cafe which are just blocks from the house!Getting Around:Aside from being able to walk everywhere, we recommend using Uber/Lyft as you can quickly get from A to B at a great price. Just in case you find yourselves stumbling a little bit from having such an awesome time :)Other Things to Note:We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don’t live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know.If you have any emergencies call 911.SVR-00165
